Robert and The Congobeat
“Let’s put more wood on the fire, so that we can continue to dance the round and round dance till we don't stop no
more. That's what I call gifted bliss given to us” by Rhythm King, Robert Maseko. "Africa is music. It is the Origin. It is the dawn of existence. You can't avoid that. It is in everything that is about myself" King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Robert Maseko words from a Live concert in Manchester Band on Wall 2003.
Dance & Backing vocals has been part of the Congo Beat extra cream to the cake with Robert Maseko culture extension from his Lunda Roots he has made it possible to exchange dance from the Congo lady dancers to Southern African lady dancers of jive dance. Lady vocals in our African Culture is one of the powerful ingredients of all joy of African music in every style and culture, so adding the lady dancers and lady voices in our repertoire when recording or performing is obvious as it very vital. “That’s why I call them Sondela Queens cause I am the Rhythm King.” Dancing and singing has been part of this circle valued in our Africa without dance we belong to the sadness if not no matter what we have to keep celebrating dance to show the continuity of joy and pain which are part of our lives.

The backing vocals from the lady dancers is very important in our music cause it adds that voltage of the groovy like it has been performed since the beginning of time, so CongoBeat believes greatly and respectively to his Sondela Queens.
